Have been crying at work because everyone in my life seems to get tired of me and walks away. While this video doesn’t solve the problem of feeling abandoned, but it does help with the reminder that someone else understands.

I’m terribly lonely. 54 and living alone with my dog.<br>I’d love to have someone around. Just someone to talk to in the morning and make plans with.

The only person in my family who ever said "I love you" to me and I never once doubted her was my grandmother. She died of cancer when I was 13. I think the reason I crashed as hard as I did was because I subconsciously knew that I had lost the only constant person in my life who ever cared about me.<br><br>That was over 20 years ago. It's gotten easier with time. But I'm still horribly alone. I have no close friends (I don't know how to make and keep them), my family cares about me but I know that at times their love is conditional. I'm just grateful that I live in a town that has a 24 Hour Adoration chapel so I can go at any time and know Jesus is there. It does help.

I’ve been on the outside my whole life.<br>I don’t have any friends, loneliness is real and deeply painful but I need to never forget that we always have Jesus.
