To get a definitive version running on real hardware, it would simply be a matter of disabling the Palace Gate and Warrior's Altar stages—and preferably using the "Kamaleon" version with high-quality music. I’d be perfectly happy with that setup on my N64. Just something to consider, Doctor—it’s a humble suggestion.

Awesome job you continue to do! I was checking out the replay. I noticed at 41:21, playing Sindel in the MK3 version, when she does the uppercut in her combo, she doesn't knock Kano to the next level. If you're trying to be authentic to the original MK3, combos like Sindel, Kabal, and Stryker will knock opponents up into the next level of a 2 level stage when uppercutted. Great work!!

At 2:03:01, I'm noticing that it makes that screeching sound only on MK2 stages and not MK1/MK3 stages.

In the new version 3.7, which MKT ROM should the patch be applied to?
