  Even though I love playing with items, they can still get better.<br>How do you think items could be improved / what items should they add in a next Smash?

  So, hear me out. The Devil Axe from Fire Emblem. The swings do massive damage. But if you miss, YOU take that damage.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJ5bfse7El0&amp;t=552">9:12</a> The baby could be funny, but for me, something that I think could get in smash is an assist trophy of the MII NEWS, where it picks a random mii from your system and it does either A: its just the mii talking and covering part of the screen similar to the dog assist trophy, or B (and what I think would be more unique): the mii could be doing a weather report and that would cause random climate events to occur on the arena (similar to the egg tv boss from sonic mania)

  One of the older cut items I miss is the Kirby Parasol that’s exclusive to Melee. Every character has a unique animation for slowly drifting down to the ground with it, that’s probably why they never brought it back. Also in Melee there was a very rare chance that Adventure mode enemies could pop out of Crates, Barrels and Party Balls. That’s one thing that should’ve been a mainstay it would make for funny jumpscares. Imagine seeing a ReDead pop out and it clawing on you for massive damage.

  I think it would be funnier if Cranky Kong actually was nice to characters that have only appeared in older games, like the Ice Climbers, but especially mean towards more recent characters, like the Inklings or Pyra/Mythra.

  I&apos;d love a video on assist trophies, there&apos;s so many lesser known Nintendo characters that would be fun to see like Emio, the Horse from Miitopia or the bunny from that Jump Rope Challenge game

  Now that you mention heart containers from Zelda, you rarely find full heart containers out in the wild in the series, so what if... the heart container were instead pieces of heart, like in the classic Zelda games? They would appear more often, and you can even keep getting them in midair, BUT now you have to get 4 before getting the 100% heal. Do you risk chasing them whenever they appear, at the cost of maybe losing more health than the health you would gain? You could also keep track on how many pieces of heart someone has, and gang up on them.<br><br>With this in mind, maybe getting an extra stock from collecting all 4 pieces wouldn&apos;t be unbalanced, but it must remain as rare as Heart containers are right now, and maybe you should lose the heart pieces if you lose a stock, similar to how you lose the pieces of the Dragoon if you lose a stock.<br><br>I think the Heart Piece could be a fun item, and many other items can take the niche of healing 100% of health.

  something LIKE the baby from tomodachi would be real fun actually, having an item all players have an interest in protecting shakes up the match a lot. And could probably be a gamble to throw in stock-difference scenarios. there&apos;s probably some other alternatives that&apos;d be less morbid though. Maybe the hot bob-omb from Bellabel Park? Keep it from falling down or it&apos;ll explode. Or the lumiknoll from Pikmin 4. If it survives after a time (minion characters spawn in to try to get it), everyone gets a heal and a buff.
