  Band 6.5 is where most candidates get stuck for multiple test attempts and this video shows exactly why. The vocabulary is functional but not precise — you can hear the candidate reaching for words occasionally which signals to the examiner that the lexical range has a ceiling. What&apos;s interesting is the fluency is actually quite good at 6.5 which means the score is being limited by Lexical Resource and Grammatical Range specifically. Targeted vocabulary preparation for common Speaking topics moves this score faster than any other intervention.

  I&apos;ve just passed my ielts test last week! <br>L:9 R:8.5 W:7.5 S:7.5 overall: 8<br> with 3 weeks of prep time watching this channel.<br>Huge thanks to the IELTS Advantage team, and i would advise anyone trying to improve their writing score to use the writing corrections service at the website.   The ranking of this girl is perfect. She deserves a 6.5, the pronunciation is nepali version and before anyone says it is because she is nepali but in IELTS british, american or australian is much more preferred. And a lot of repetition for example &quot;You know&quot;. You have to maintain a little bit of formal tome but still like talking to a friend. So I could not find that formal tone in her interview. Yeah fluency was also missing and she could not understand the question properly for example the first question only the examiner said name the most popular tourist attraction and she was just over exaggerating and saying that mountains and all are good but he said mainly name one place and she didn&apos;t. Overall, I hope she improves.
