The perfect video to leave playing in the background and listen to as I try to make a cardboard Batman mask.

I find it far more believable that Superman could keep his identity secret than Batman, I think for the vast majority of people in Gotham, they would at the very least think Bruce is one of the main suspects

 My hot takes:
1. Make Spider-Man's stories a bit more darker, and have him team up with the Defenders.
2. The only way to fix Spider-Man comics, quoting the Comic Lads, "Nuke it All, reboot."
3. I love Far From Home, the first Spider-Man movie I've ever watched in theatres, so it's a bit nostalgic for me. I was 7 when it came out, so I basically grew up with Tom's Spider-Man.
4. I like teenage Peter as long as they let him grow eventually.

Well, Nemo, I’ve just started the video, but the only real defense I can think of for why Peter never told Aunt May about him being Spider-Man is because of her heart condition. Aunt May’s heart can easily give out and fail if she experiences too much fear or excitement. Peter said in Symbiote Spider-Man Alien Reality to Black Cat that if he told Aunt May about the other side of his life, it would cause her to have a heart attack instantly. It’s not really the best defense, but it’s certainly better than nothing.

Hot Take: Mary Jane & Peter Parker should not get back together until they address the deal with Mephisto in story. Like it has to be an actual arc. With then overcoming it without the loss of Aunt May

I think Superman’s cape logo makes it look more like he’s wearing a Kryptonian flag/banner. Also Superman doesn’t look as iconic from every angle as Batman does (the long ears and serrated cape make Batman immediately recognisable) so there needs to be something at the back that shows explicitly that this is Superman, which is all the more important for Superman specifically because him and Batman probably have the most knockoffs out of any superheroes in fiction.

Venom in Spider-Man 3 was the best version in live action. He was smaller in size, yes. But it was straight from the source material. How he was Venom, how he became Venom, that was Venom.

1:10 green lantern is a title, robin is a title, Barry and Wally are rarely simultaneously the flash in main continuity outside of larger scale events, Spider-man is the only one that is now consistently running with the story that miles is a young protege to Peter, and they just have the exact same name. Everybody knows they’re different people and there’s barely any precedent for the mantle to be passed on after Peter is out of the picture, let alone while he’s still active. Everyone else gets a new name, even Peter clones, they can come up with something for miles, because outside of the ultimate universe, he is just simply not Spider-Man.
