  as someone that speaks french fluently and has asked multiple french friends, Sacre Bleu isn&apos;t really a made up term, it was just used a LONG time ago. like your great grandmother might use it and your grandmother would probably think its a bit old fashioned so imagine what it sounds like to a younger millenial or a zoomer like Saruei. people nowadays definitely don&apos;t say it. it&apos;s seen as REALLY old fashioned. it means something roughly along the lines of &quot;Oh Gee Wilikers&quot; or &quot;Jeepers&quot; like americans used to use in the 30s, 40s, and 50s. so yeah. Saruei was dying of cringe from hearing it. idk why its still a stereotype that french people say it.
