  Kerchak actually becomes a little more understandable when you remind yourself that he loved his son, watched his son get mauled to death, and then watched his mate then try to fill the void with a human<br>like he was still holding a grudge but he was also a parent grieving his son while also having to be the strong protector of the family group

  Here’s a fun design/story fact. &nbsp;<br><br>Clayton and Sabor (the leopard) share the same colour palette, Clayton appears right after Sabor dies, effectively replacing him as the antagonist in the story. Plus the sound of the gunshot is similar to the sound of a leopard.<br><br>Clayton is just Sabor in human form.

  One of the best villain deaths in all of fiction. He LITERALLY brought it up on himself. His own flaws and vices killed him, and in the end he was even more savage than the wild animals he hunted.

  Terk is one of those characters where I was surprised was a female as a kid. I missed her mother calling her little lady but other media further confirm it like in the TV show in an episode where I remember even Tentor was like, “You’re a girl?!”

  Another fun fact: The Phil Collins song &quot;You&apos;ll Be In My Heart&quot; is actually a lullaby dedicated to his daughter Lily, who is also a year older than me

  The death of Kerchak was very sad. Throughout the story, he wasn’t very fond of Tarzan being part of his tribe. After he was saved by Tarzan from Sabor and was shown that Tarzan was capable of being a protector, he lightened up a bit, until the betrayal scene. <br><br>When he was shot and near death, he passed the torch to Tarzan and finally acknowledged him as his son, that tugged at my heartstrings so much and I couldn’t hold back my tears. Very similar to Mufasa’s death in The Lion King.

  Something really unique about this movie is that Phil Collin&apos;s worked with linguistic coaches and recorded himself singing in Spanish, French, German, and Italian in the respective versions of those dubbed movies. Growing up with the Latin American version, I always thought Collins spoke Spanish because of how well that version sounded.

  Fun fact: The signature &quot;Tarzan yell&quot; is provided by Brian Blessed, the voice of this movie&apos;s villain Clayton. because after noticing that Tony Goldwyn could not make a convincing scream, Blessed went to one of the producers to tell him that he could do it, the producer refused at first but after he yelled in front of him, he accepted.
