  I have truly LOVED the fact that in these past few years Oaxaca is finally getting their flowers. Growing up I always got bullied for being Oaxcan, my tata (who came to the US at 19) was heavily discriminated against. Seeing people eat the food my tata grew up on and in turn would make for me growing up just really warmed my heart. <br><br>I personally LOVE Oaxacan chocolate! My tata brings back BAGS full of chocolate bricks, along with pan de cazuela which is a traditional bread from Tlacolula ( where my tata is from). Another thing I love is chapulines! I got sooo much shit for it in elementary when I use to bring it for snack 🤣 kids were RUTHLESS!

  After visiting Oaxaca I told my family, &quot;this is where I want to die.&quot; Amazing food, amazing people, amazing culture, amazing art... I &quot;crashed&quot; a wedding, but they were all so wonderful and inviting! Literally everything I encountered was 10/10. I wish I could have stayed! I wish I had half the talent of the crafts people of that city. I hope they know how lucky they are to live in such an amazing city. Viva la ciudad de Oaxaca!!!!

  Greetings from oaxaca!! So glad you loved Oaxacan food. It’s incredibly earthy and organic, which is why it tastes so grounded compared to processed food.

  The singular of tamales is tamal. &quot;Tamale&quot; isn&apos;t a word in Spanish. The es is what makes it plural. Another example from this video is chapulines (grasshoppers). The singular is chapulin. There are words that don&apos;t follow that rule. For example mole. The singular does have the E. The plural is moles. So in this episode they had &quot;siete moles de Oaxaca&quot;. <br><br>Source: I am a native speaker of Mexican Spanish.
