  Let me just clarify, Greeks from Black Sea, Anatolia and Eastern Thrace, did not "return back" to Greece after the fall of the Ottoman empire. They were native indigenous populations in these areas, with a recorded history of more than 2 millenia at the time. They came to Greece as refugees, not as some kind of emigrants that came back to the old country.

  Just to clarify as I am local the city square wasn’t built out of modernization it was built because in 1917 the 2/3 of the city burn and the city center had be reconstructed

  David, thanks for taking me back to Greece. I visited there 20 years ago for a week and a half and it was fabulous. The food is amazing.

  Markets are my favorite always..just the colors..the fruits..vegs...household items   and goid to know the meats are fresh...the syrupy snacks  would love to have some if I could.....looks delicious..sausages too...and I'm learning so much here..nice video ...Always good to see Tasos too...Thanks David safe travels Peace always.
