  I ran into him once in Scottsdale at his wine tasting room there. You'd think he'd be like "oh god here's another fan," but he was so nice. My wife asked me afterward if he already knew me; that's how nice and friendly he was. Talented guy. Self-made from modest beginnings. Works hard. Tries to make the world better. We need more Americans like this. 🇺🇸

  Maynard, your father Mike was a friend.  We spent many weeks sharing lodging at ski competitions.  He was so proud of you.  I never knew he was into Jamal , though.  Thanks for that .He’s missed by many.

  Joni Mitchell's acrobatic tonal shifting and weird time signatures are all in Maynard's singing. I can't believe I didn't notice it before.

  What I like about his choices is it's VERY clear that if you mix all those artists together, you get exactly one Maynard out the other end.
