Back in 1969 there was an old man in Herndon Kansas that had huge incubators. His name was Frank Buk. I loved that old man and he was the one that got me interested in chickens.

I remember when I was a kid in the 70’s and loved chickens, everybody thought I was goofy, even local farmers. Now they’re all “into” chickens. I just laugh.

Nice setup! I've been Incubating for over fifty years now. Learned a couple things. Hydrogen Proxide is your best friend. Add it to your water and you will never have a rotten egg and your hatch rate will go up. Also if you put new eggs on the bottom tray and move every one up on setting day it will reduce chill death in your eggs. It also helped me keep everything straight because I alway knew the top tray was the one coming out. I do a 10 day rotation have a little higher loss but cuts my work load. Your doing awesome and it's nice to see you with this passion for the bird farm life. Cheers

You have quite the setup.    I have raised chickens for 6 years and got an incubator for the first time this year.

For small incubators, you can't beat the gqf 1588. It's basic, simple and works great when used in a controlled temperature environment.
