  Based on miyamato's philosophy, bro basically was in the zone in all his fights. It wasn't his swordplay, strength or anything that made him win. It was his share focus and unshakeable will that made his opponents forfeit or die

The creator basically took inspiration from felines to from tigers all the way to Panthers just to design his face in a way that makes it look like he&apos;s about to murder you.

  It’s believed that Musashi died from lung cancer after having suffered from severe abdominal pain for 3 years. He died in a cave called Reigando, where he was living as a hermit, and completed his final works including the Book of Five Rings.

  It’s not out of character for retsu to do that. He’s moto is “it’s fine” in response to fighting people with weapons. In fact most fights he has had in the anime are to the death but he usually spares his opponents and or barely survives them. He keeps fighting because if one is born a male then he will once in his life dream of become the worlds strongest man. And if he were to beat musashi handicapped (not allowed to use weapons) then That victory would not have meant anything. That’s why he challenged him to a fight. Most fights in the arena are deathmatches however weapons are not allowed. This one was unique not because of allowing killing, that has always been allowed but in allowing weapons.
