  The interviewer was so out of line in so many places. "You have the right personality for sexwork, you wouldn't get traumatized" yo actually what the fuck 💀💀

  So, this person has a very high IQ and is a wonderful advocate for mental health issues. “I’m an actress in my own life” She is very likable.

  It is SOO interesting to me how she talks about being diagnosed with antisocial-personality disorder during a period of homelessness. It goes to show how culture and class can influence or even change the way we interpret behaviors. Like she puts it, to survive homelessness you may have to engage in more “selfish” behaviors which could influence a diagnosis. It just makes me wonder how many people who were labeled “psychopaths” were really just traumatized  people trying to survive.

  Seriously, Cassie needs to ABSOLUTELY do TED talks and needs to advocate more publicly! This is extremely important for people to hear and this was communicated so clearly and eloquently.

  The ones they call weird are often the brightest minds and kindest souls. Because we see the world differently, they label us, judge us, and try to dim our light. I’ve lived through being silenced, disbelieved, and hurt by my own family called crazy, rejected, and misunderstood. Still, I chose to stand up for myself. Being different didn’t break me; it revealed my strength.
