  I honestly always enjoy playing solo class characters. Just feels kinda right in the BG3 setting that they are not picking up a new patron or deity than the one they are already following or manage to unlock a whole new skillset, but that is just the way I roleplay. In DnD when a campaign spans over many months or even years it is a different story even though multi classing seriously got nerved with the 2024 rules since you won&apos;t be picking up a subclass till level 3.

  Also, for paladins, I think the only reason why they aren’t S tier is actually the risk of breaking your oath lol no other class is forced to change their playstyle bc you picked the wrong dialogue. That being said, it’s actually pretty easy to keep a Vengeance oath so it’s probably not a big concern for most people. Just don’t attack people randomly, I guess

  As for the rogue, you can clear many encounters solo by using cunning action hide. If they can&apos;t find you they burn their turn. I cleared the entire spider cave up to the boss with just the rogue and didn&apos;t take a single hit. I feel like if you have a rogue in your group and you are using group mode you are just using rogue wrong. Rogue is the strongest class in my opinion outside of boss fights.
