  I think we should use the Petrol system way whereby you scan your credit card on it and hold a large $200 or $100 in. After finishing charging, remove it and put it back and it finalized the settlement on it. But the downside to this method is that your mobile phone cannot track the progress on it too.

  There is also the AXS Drive app, which supports EV charging across participating operators such as SP Mobility, Busways, G Tech, City Energy, MNL Asia, EV Mobility, and CDG.<br><br>I suppose this helps address the ease-of-use point highlighted in the video. The charging rates remain the same as using the operators’ direct charging apps.

  Difficult garment give to private sector to settle different area in sg. Although charging price are also regulated by garment to prevent profiteering. It like early days we scan payment with different app.

  Same bro, I have loads of charging apps. If only someone can API a super app for this.<br><br>Another issue is notification of full charge. The in app notification is just too soft, probably need to come up with an SMS and/or phone call notification service based on subscription

  1 of the reason I decide to get a Hybrid is the charging. Right now there are too many players and they do not seem to have an easy option where instead using an apps, having a QR Paynow or Credit Card as an option at the charging station really helps.

  The time taken to do all these plus the charging time, I would have finished pumping petrol for my hybrid at the kiosk, went toilet, paid for petrol at the counter, shopped at the petrol station mart, cooked cup noodles, ate my cup noodles, then drove off with a full tank, parked my car at my home public carpark, reached home, showered and then watched YouTube.. Don’t get me wrong, I like EVs but our charging infrastructure and systems are just not ready

  Sorry, soon to join the ev club. My ev friends have educated me on the tons of apps that I need but then again they too also sort of treat their ev like ice car where they would charge at a specific place and only charge at other spots when it&apos;s required which sort of makes sense to me cause like SG is so small and if you can run out of charge it&apos;s purely the driver&apos;s neglignce right? I&apos;ll test out this theory when the car arrives.

  Thank you for this video and your candour. And that&apos;s precisely THE point. For hybrids and ICE, we don&apos;t need to know the octane chemistry, refinery process, pump flow rate or how the petrol got from Saudi Arabia to the pump either. I just need to know RON 95 or 98. Drive in, nozzle in, full tank, pay, jalan. Five minutes. I don&apos;t need an app, account, charging curve, electrical engineering lesson or Plan B because Pump 3 doesn&apos;t want to talk to my car. I&apos;m not anti-EV. Buy whatever makes the most sense for your use case. If you have home charging, predictable mileage and the economics work, lucky you. 👍🏼 But if we&apos;re talking about pushing an entire population towards EVs, then make the whole ecosystem as idiot-proof as petrol first. Until our MILs can drive up, plug the charger in without knowing what provider, single-phase, three-phase, kW, SOC or charging curves mean, charge, pay and leave, we haven&apos;t replaced the convenience of petrol yet. We&apos;ve just transferred part of the energy management problem to the driver and called it &quot;progress&quot;.

  Just did 800km on my hybrid 41litre tank when the low fuel light came on. My road tax is dirt cheap at less than 800sdg. I am a high anxiety person. 😂😂😂😂 &nbsp;Quick petrol stop ease my trip of having looking for empty charging lot and waiting. Singapore DC charging is not dirt cheap.

  I agree. Its way too much hassle and may revert motorists to choose ICE cars before the 2030 timeline is up. I just adopted an EV too. I am having anxiety watching your poor mil struggle. We need a better system.
