  Heather O’Rourke passed away after she finished filming Poltergeist 3. She died from sepsis from an intestinal blockage. She has noticeably bloated features in the 3rd film. Dominque Dunne was murdered by her jealous ex bf, she was the elder sister in Poltergeist. 2 prominent actors from the 2nd film died shortly after shooting wrapped (the main antogonist and indian shaman)

  Another thing about Poltergeist II that was disturbing <b>at the time</b> was that Dominique Dunne, the actress who played the older sister of Heather O&apos;Rourke, couldn&apos;t appear in the sequel because she had been murdered by her boyfriend only five months after the first movie was released.
