The bikes were cool and looked good,but the motorcycles were nothing more than museum pieces,meant to be on display only, certainly not to be on the road

I knew a guy who bought a custom OCC bike for $41,000, it fell all apart within six months. His NEW bike had used spark plugs, the welding was shoddy & cracked, the paint job flaked after a couple of months, the list goes on. Of course no refund.

The hype for choppers was huge in the early 2000's. They don't ride as good as they look as it turns out

They built bikes back then they sold for over 60k, today those same bikes can't sell for much more than 10k if you're lucky. No one wants a bike with no suspension and tiny seats that will ruin your lower back.
