  As a Kenyan, I find Ethiopia the best country to visit. It is beautiful and has very nice people, culture and food. Addis Ababa is also thriving as a beautiful political capital city of Africa.

  For clarification: the coffee ceremony is completely free in Ethiopia, no charge. She is nice, but she was confused when she mentioned 3,000 birr. I think she was referring to the cost of coffee-making equipments.

  Davud,<br><br>I am Ethiopian and have been watching &nbsp;your video for long time.<br>I am glad see you visiting my country.<br> watched yours first experience in Ethiopia,<br>I obliged to give you some advice.<br> what you need is a legitimate tour<br> gude person to have a full experience in Ethiopia.<br>when I was watching your video exploring Addis Ababa at your first time, I observed your experience with few/lots misunderstanding and miscommunication towards to the local.<br>You have to understand that Ethiopian tourist industry is just kicking in very recently and the local don&apos;t haven&apos;t developed tourist service skills and can be seen as rude or incurticy towards tourist. <br>This is due to many factors.<br>First, the local don&apos;t have western style service standard, luck of communication, and many street random person see the tourist all are rich and have a mind set to get money from the tourist as much they can.<br>Having a legitimate tour guide will give you personal security, smooth communication experience, and have hussel &nbsp;free from street boys/girls.<br><br><br>Take it as humble advice not instruction.<br><br>Enjoy your stay in Ethiopia.

  I am in Lesotho. I spend time studying in Ethiopia and I fell in love with that country. I was at Ethiopian Airlines technician and pilot training school in 1987. Thank you for showing this beautiful place to us, it brings a lot of good memories about this place which I consider my second home.

  I appreciate your sense security and understanding red flags, my advice is don’t pick up a stranger as a guide as you might be disappointed. Most &nbsp;places they don’t charge you for the coffee ceremony but just the coffee. Ethiopian pride themselves to show their country and tradition. &nbsp;Ask &nbsp;genuine people like those people at the reception of your hotel about prices and how and where to find what you are looking for. The lady who asked 3000 for coffee was trying to scam you. Just be careful and enjoy Ethiopia . It is a good practice if people feel comfortable to be filmed as some people feel uncomfortable for unknown reasons
