  Ringo was their clicktrack and a freakin Ace drummer. Also the peacekeeper; even when everyone hated everyone else, they all still loved Ringo and he loved them. You should find out Ringo&apos;s backstory, it&apos;s incredible.

  Something I always tell people to keep in mind with older albums is the flip. So in this record, the hard cut on I Want You (She&apos;s So Heavy) is the end of side 1, then you physically flipped the album over and are greeted with the warm optimism of Here Comes the Sun

  You started at the end of The Beatles—soon after this they broke up (not a single band member had yet turned 30).<br><br>They were only together as recording artists for 7 years, but in that short time they recorded 14 albums and dozens of non-album singles—a total of almost 250 songs. But more important, they aggressively evolved. By the “later years” from 1966 thru 1969, they don’t even sound like the same band as during the “Beatlemania” years of 1963/64. Every step of the way, The Beatles cut the edge and everyone else struggled to keep up. They changed music and the world again-and-again-and-again.

  The man not wearing the shoes is Paul McCartney. The crosswalk is actually on Abbey Road, a street in northwest London. To this day, you literally can&apos;t drive or walk past there without finding tourists posing for pictures of themselves crossing the road. It&apos;s right opposite Abbey Road studios, where they did a lot of their recording. This was actually the last album they recorded, and is widely considered one of the best albums ever produced.

  This was hands down the best reaction I’ve seen to an album. I loved the way you took the time to learn about the songs. Even though it interrupted the flow of the medley, you caught on eventually. Well done, you’ve earned a subscriber.

  Lennon and McCartney were best friends after John&apos;s mom was killed by a drunken off duty cop when he was 17. &nbsp;Paul had just lost his own mom the year before, from cancer. &nbsp;Although close, and having their business falling out in 1969, they made up and still spoke to each other through the 70s (Paul got John to stop drinking in Los Angeles after he left Yoko, and took her assistant to California for 18 months in 1973-74, and return to NY and Yoko and he cleaned up his act and went home and become a father to Sean months later). &nbsp;Paul and John would often &quot;BUST&quot; on each other, ribbing each other in the press, but both men grew up that way, and that&apos;s how they stayed. &nbsp;Contantly picking, like brothers.
