So good! John is a gem and a wealth of information, willing to go wherever the facts lead him. I’m a 90’s youth and my jaw dropped a number of times. The hand praising Jesus was absolutely sacrilegious.

Basically they are removing everything about Mormonism that made us a “peculiar people”. Which we were supposed to be so proud of.

Covenants is code in the LDS Church for works. It is still about working one's way to exaltation.

For the Strength of Youth magazine is now the lesson manual. This started with the September issue of the magazine (this year). They are asking all of the youth to subscribe to the magazine (it’s free) so they can prepare for the lesson in advance. So each magazine has a lesson for each Sunday of the month. This is separate from the booklet or pamphlet that they revised a couple of years ago under the direction of Elder Uchtdorf.
