As a pet owner who watches your videos for obedience tips rather than gun dog work....this was the most useful video I've ever seen....thank you so much for going into a "normal environment" (ie for those of us who live in a housing estate!) and showing how we can train. Invaluable.

13 week old Andrex pup is snoring currently beside me. His brother Ted is now 23 months, and we made so many mistakes to start with, until we took him gundog training (he loves it!), and then found your videos.

Ted is really well behaved now, nearly the perfect family dog, but we needed to do corrections.

Bear is doing awesomely as we're heeding your words to not create a problem in the first place. Also, this is a great video as we see you respond when things go wrong - great advice with that, thanks!

Great video! One of the hardest thing for me while training in the city is being gradual with distractions. I go out planning to work a little squirrel action at a distance but things often unravel to too much too soon!

Thanks Charlie. You’re the first gundog channel I’ve seen that has done this sort of thing and I really appreciate it. We have 3 labs. All are gundogs but also family pets. One of the younger dogs is literally frightened by everything when we take her for a walk in our little village. Looks like I need to focus on doing this with her rather than talking her for a walk with the others and expecting her to grow out of it.

It looks like the handler, wearing those wellies, needs to be trained on appropriate city attire 😂 Love your videos as always 😀
