  I remember putting up a half dozen beautiful red cedar logs to dry and age properly for turning into a single-piece bow. When they were finally ready, I had about two weeks left of classes before I could start on my project. My mother burned them for firewood somewhere in that two weeks. That ended my bow project in a hurry and started my desire to live alone in the mountains...<br>Now that I live alone in the mountains, I&apos;ve begun scoping out trees. Found a nice hickory recently that might just have to get cut down and stacked to dry.<br>Never let go of your dreams.
