I have never been able to get into audiobooks. I just love reading the book myself so much. But this voice actor is brilliant. Separate voices for every character and never gets them mixed up. Absolutely brilliant

Never heard of this book but after the name of the wind I had to find my next book to listen to while I drive to the job sites for work.

I first read this story in the 80's, in my late teens. The whole series over the following 20 years, there are maybe 15 -20 books, multipule trilogies, and the moment in the introduction is says to magician it says "Thanks to the Friday nighter's" I know it was roleplayed to some extent, I see the community that built this. Beautiful work, inspiring, inteligent and generational in its telling.

When I was a teenager this book was my favorite book and it remains so until this very day. I'm 52 now.

I have read all of his books when I was a lot younger, found this one and it’s just as good as I remember.
