Thanks! Wonderful reaction. Angelina was very close to her 8th birthday for this audition. Too many singers passed their audition, so they had to have a Judges Cut round to narrow the field. Each singer was required to sing a cappella, unless they also played an instrument. Angelina chose Billy Holiday's last big hit, "I'm a Fool to Want You". At this age Angelina's skills are improving daily, so with each one, the improvement is remarkable. https://youtu.be/LXknLZDoRVQ?si=DtzptwWxgbUfOYrJ Would make for a fabulous double reaction to also react to AJ singing the same song at age 11. https://youtu.be/SGx0djXTXQk?si=EtKM_eLG3C6FaWxa

You certainly have an appreciation of who she is as a kind, caring and loving human being and there is no doubt her soulfulness is genuine. There is an aura of love around her and whenever she sings her voice carries velvety tones of love to everyone who listens to her. Most people hearing her for the first time are hard pressed to describe what just happened to them in words but, at the same time they realize she has touched their hearts because they can feel it. She is very humble and she has known since she was very little the affect she has on people and has stayed grounded throughout her rise in popularity.
Angelina is all about love and when she prepares to sing a song she identifies with the message of love in a song and that's what we hear when we listen to her sing.
When you watched her sing 'Gloomy Sunday' you were amazed at her confidence and poise on stage as she sang. She has been quoted as saying singing is like breathing to her and she believes she was meant to sing to us and she is most comfortable on stage doing just that. Amazing.

If you plan to take Angelina's reaction chronologically it will take you years. She has so much material for us that there is a sea of songs on social media like YouTube. This is a very unusual hardworking young lady we are talking about.

Great reaction Hadassah, she was 7 in this audition, but turned 8 for the 3 remaining performances. Her development during the 6 months of the competition is amazing & can be compared to "dog years." One year in her musical development is like 7 years for everyone else. Yes the blonde woman crying backstage is her mother, Sara Astar. Now they look like sisters together, rather than mother/daughter. I gave this video a like & I subscribed for your musical journey with Angelina, my favorite singer/songwriter of my lifetime.
