Pokémon Vendor Beginner’s Guide: Raw vs. Graded

If you’re a Pokémon vendor, should you be putting your money into RAW cards or GRADED cards? Both can be great inventory, but they serve very different purposes at a vendor table. In this video, I break down the pros and cons of raw vs. graded Pokémon cards from a vendor’s perspective and explain what I would prioritize if I were starting over today. 👇 IN THIS VIDEO: • Raw vs. graded Pokémon cards • Which sells faster at card shows • Why liquidity matters more than you think • The advantages of selling raw cards • When graded cards make sense • The risks of tying up money in expensive slabs • How condition affects raw card purchases • Why your buy percentage isn’t everything • What I would buy with $1,000 as a new vendor One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned vending Pokémon cards is that a good deal doesn’t always mean good inventory. Buying a card at 70–75% sounds great, but if it sits in your case for six months, was it really that good of a buy? For me, it comes down to understanding liquidity, demand, price point, and who is actually shopping at your table. Whether you’re preparing for your first card show or trying to improve your current inventory, hopefully this video helps you think more like a vendor when deciding between raw and graded cards. 🏢 CORNERSTONE COLLECTIBLES Follow along as I build Cornerstone Collectibles and share everything I’m learning about Pokémon vending, buying collections, inventory management, card shows, and the business side of the hobby. 💬 QUESTION FOR YOU: If you had $1,000 to spend on vendor inventory today, would you buy raw cards, graded cards, or a mix of both?
