To get the bugs out of the car I turn of all of the lights and shine your phone flashlight they will all be attracted to it and they will follow light outside of the car and turn it off and run back into the car

I've caught a channel cat on a top water lure before. There was no splash like with a bass, the lure just disappeared underwater. I assume he just sucked it up like farm catfish do food.

word of advice switch lures soon as it produced a few fish if it dont work switch right back i fish and catch up to also 10-20 species a day with ease ontop of 3 different rods each for different species
