Mickey is a legendary boyfriend. He overcame his internalized homophobia, denounced his father, and stuck with Ian through his entire mental health crisis. He and Ian weren’t always the healthiest couple (there are some moments earlier in their relationship that are concerning) but as he developed he got better and better at articulating his feelings. Now that they’re married, they’re just gonna keep growing and I can’t wait to see what happens in the final season.

I love how Mickey's wifey tendency slowly unravel through out the seasons. It all started out with the tray of cookies and ended with Mickey Bridezilla Gallavich 😭😭😭

As someone with bipolar, I really respect how much Mickey stayed on top of it to help Ian maintain the routine. It's super important and honestly easy to forget sometimes.
