  Why can't people understand that the plane has developed a technical problem? This IS a part of life when you travel. Accept it and be gracious because the customer service agents can't change it.

  I flew Icelandic Air LHR to Keflavik in 2007. It was hilarious. Open bottles passed around by passengers, bags and boxes belted into seats, bins opening randomly in flight, litter everywhere, and the cockpit door was open the entire flight. I'm ex-military so questionable transport doesn't bother me but it was so unexpectedly awesome. Probably not as fun anymore.

  When I came through for a school trip, I got to have the pleasure of interacting with Border Force Bob! He was very sweet and reccommended a few hidden gems to go see while I was there! Hope the man is doing well 7 years later!

  I learned today that plane hydraulic systems also have a sensor on them that tells the system whether the plane is landed or in flight. This is a failsafe and safety mechanism, which allows for system updates, software changes, etc. to only be done when the plane is grounded - to avoid the plane systems being hacked while in the air. Also apparently updates to firmware etc are made by hardwiring ethernet to a local system (laptop) rather than downloading and installing an update over wifi.

Better a day late than never! Also I would be quite suspicious if the repair was done in twenty minutes! The next day gives proper time to make sure it&apos;s right.

  I love these videos! My Son is an international A330 Pilot for Delta and he flies into Heathrow a few times a month from Seattle. I’m so proud of him!👨‍✈️✈️
