I always thought there should've been a sequel made to this movie. Too bad it never happened. 😢

Deep appreciation for this. The late, great Don Williams and the ageless Jerry Reed were 2 of the best things about 1970's country music. Thanks for helping keep their voices alive. Was a soundtrack album release available? I've never been able to find one. What a world-class missed opportunity for a delicious slice of Americana.

Saw this movie in the mid ‘70s. Always thought it interesting that Art Carney (Ed Norton) chases Burt in “WW …” and Jackie Gleason (Ralph Kramden) chases him in “Smokey and the Bandit.”

First movie I ever saw in the theater when I was a kid. Burt Reynolds, Art Ccarney, and everybody else in this movie was excellent. Still love everything about it. Cool cars, the blues, country music…outlaws. Thx 🚬🙂🍺
