Her pleading that she's not ready to die after months of contemplating suicide makes it hit so hard. She had finally regained the desire to live only to have it snatched away. It's so unfair.

Sadie Sink acted the hell out of this episode and Caleb McLaughlin was phenomenal. When he screams “Erica, help!” I felt that to my core. Can’t believe they weren’t nominated for any awards.

We need to shout-out Erica Sinclair. At the end, it&apos;s Erica sitting next to Lucas in the hospital room. She doesn&apos;t have to say anything, she knows Lucas is hurting and needs support, even if that means sitting quietly while he reads to Max.<br>Erica is the typical annoying little sister but when the chips are down, she has Lucas&apos; back. I love her.

I literally cried to Max’s death! Caleb and Sadie did a phenomenal job doing this scene! They should be up for an Emmy!

As a person who was once suicidal and overcame it because of my friends and family, hearing Max cry, &quot;I&apos;m so scared, I don&apos;t wanna die, I&apos;m not ready too&quot; hits so hard 😭

I feel like this season everyone started to appreciate Lucas more. He&apos;s always been an amazing character but has always been somewhat overlooked because of el, Steve, dustin and all the more popular characters but Caleb did an amazing job standing out this season
