"Great Wall of China in Fighting Games" sounds like an idea for a video.

Tekken 2 was just absolute style. The feel and art direction with tekken 2 is aesthetics goals. I still love it till this day.

Actually baffled that I visit(ed) Lake Windermere frequently and never realised the stage was based on it

There's just something so cool about all these fighting game backdrops from the 90s. It makes you want to explore them, something modern open world video games fail to capture.

Jack 2's stage is listed as "Akibahara" but I always thought it looked like an industrial zone.

I loved the backgrounds in these old Tekken stages. They felt so atmospheric to me.

I remember first playing 1 in 1997 and vowing I wanted to visit every place the stages were based on. I'm almost 40 and still been to 1 in Chicago haha. Excellent video! Discovered you on GVG few days ago. Keep it going :D

Having the name in the bottom-right of the screen was such a strange choice, you'd think it'd fade away after the round started. As a result, it's part of my mental memory when I try to remember the game. <br>I'm dead serious when I say; when I think of Tekken 1, I think "Angkor Wat" in a blurry font.

Tekken 2 actually had a commercial in Japan that promoted the big head mode.
