  I cannot understand clients (in this case, a model) who doesn't listen to the professional who's giving them a service. Why can't they understand that if it's not possible, it is NOT possible.

  Gel didn't ruin her nails.  She ruined them by not taking care of them and poor nail hygiene.

  Gel didn't ruin her nails. She did. They were on wayyyyy too long, and she had lifting where water got trapped.

  I’m a hairstylist. Most of my clients appreciate when I refuse to do something because it will be harmful to the health of their hair. Occasionally I get someone who doesn’t want to listen. I just have to let them go. I’d rather you tell people I refused to do a service than tell people I ruined your hair. Not only because I do truly care, but in the end, it’s bad for business! ❤

  The model did it to herself by being so neglectful. She needs to take responsibility and treat her nails kindly so she can wear nails again. People drive me nuts.

  Sadly she will go to another tech as you said and will get the set she wants. &nbsp;Likely the onycholysis will continue to creep up the nail bed towards the base detaching more of the nail (the debris and moisture plus pressure from daily life makes this happen) and the potential is that the full nail plate detaches. &nbsp;You and Anna were both consummate professionals and informed her of the proper treatment and refused to provide the service she wanted knowing it would likely further compromise her nails. &nbsp;That is all you can do. &nbsp;<br>Excellent video

  I&apos;m a nail tech and where I live technically as soon as we see signs of un-intact or unhealthy nails we cannot continue the service whatsoever and we have to refer them to a doctor. I know there&apos;s nuances to a certain extent but I&apos;m not gonna break the law and face fines or risk my reputation bc of someone else&apos;s mistakes 😮
