Whoever thinks Susumu Hirasawa's songs are AI is a jackass. Just saying it now, i've been listening to this guy since 2023 and he's made banger after banger after banger throughout the decades and I only just caught up, every song is a vibe. I made this comment to defend the legacy of a legendary composer who brought us infamously the music for Berserk and another movie i've not watched "Millenium Actress".

EDIT: DATED 30/09/26.

9.8k Likes, oml thank you all for this, by the way. I wish to add context to my comment which was made seven months ago, please read it.
Paprika had recently been added to Netflix and streaming platforms in some regions and it sparked a huge Tik Tok surge of edits using "Parade" (example Poppy Playtime Prototype edits), it caused the misunderstanding that Hirasawa's music was "generative ai" due to people not doing any research, I am aware of the "Old A.I. Music Style" and my comment was mainly to shatter the belief that Parade was a generated song and not an old one from the 2000's.

Honestly I'm a bit happy that this is getting attention on tiktok. Paprika is an amazing movie and Susumu Hirasawa is an incredible composer, people need to give more attention to both the movie and musician
