The Honda CX500 turbo did not have any lubrication going to the camshaft lobes.. All the CX500 had this problem and never lasted more than 35000 miles.. most of them never made it past 20,000 MI

The concours so long as the oil level is maintained and there are no oil leaks from the engine. The African twin is a joke, missed the Honda xr650,name a Suzuki and I’ll name a bike that the charging system is junk (the sv 650 and bikes with the same engine are definitely Suzukis king! Goldwings are all owned by riders who are on their last bike. Engines are built proof, electronic gadgets and control modules not so much. Definitely missing Harley Davidson evolution and revolution engines the sportster 883 and 1200, the 80’ evolution engine in my 1984 HD FXR is original, over 150k miles and internally original and running strong, the dual overhead cam engine in the V rod also reliable as any other similar engine from any other brand. <br><br>Obvious that the creator of this used a study group that was Japanese biased. And yes I am a mechanic with experience in dealerships that include Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Triumph, MV Agusta, as well as private shops that worked on whatever was brought to them.
