Brilliant demonstration. That's so cool that the fundamental build block of computation is just long math by hand codified. Validates my want to work by hand somehow.

Great video as always, just a little feedback regarding the thumbnail:<br>I think the whole concept of showing the belt is cool, but for me the turing head is a bit creepy. Again, thanks for a great video!

This is an incredible video, I wondered how <b>exactly</b> a Turing machine works for years now, I was familiar with the concept of a tape, tape head, and that it was "the simplest possible computer", but nothing more. This finally made me understand how it works, big thanks!

Good video as usual. I think it should emphasize more the fact that it's the program that makes the Universal Turing Machine special. The video kind of says this, but I suspect it would be somewhat easy to miss if you don't already know this.<br><br>And the bit I found clunky was the segue to the sponsor. IMO, most of the times it's better to just clearly separate the ad from the content, instead of trying to incorporate it in the narrative. Especially if they don't have much in common.
