Kanan being blinded by Maul in Rebels made him more connected with the Force than ever. So, I can see this happening to Qui-Gon Jinn.

Looks like Maul has a hobby of blinding Jedi!

Qui-Gon Jinn will have an even more of a “Trust in the Force” mindset. Being blind would only hinder the man at first but would possibly rival even the likes of Kreia with sight from the Force (if not surpass her).

This is really humanizing for Qui-gon, a character most folk see as the infallible teacher Jedi who could've saved the Galaxy if he lived.

Qui-gon struggling with his blindness after following the force so thoroughly is utterly heartbreaking but also religiously inspiring. He is fully aware how much losing his eye sight ruins his life and potential routes. Yoda the only person who could likely have experience and empathy here comforting Qui-Gon feels heartwarming.

The idea Qui-Gon crying after his talk with Yoda over his own situation as he tries to rely on the Force as he had preached and taught so much. He is the a strong Jedi, but even then reality can be cruel. Yet he still holds to the Jedi code.

At least Anakin won't easily fall to the Dark Side.

What if Vader remained as Anakin but more moody? Like one day he's killing Jedi, other day he's yelling at imperial officers due to slave work, some other day he's found drunk on naboos Senate pods mumbling something about padme

Should rename this video to: what if the Jedi council didn’t care to pay for cybernetics

15:37 Qui Gon talking into a broken electric shaver was hilarious when the movie released and still is hilarious today.

 "Slapped their sabers"

Phrasing dude.

This was amazing though. I loved how seriously you treated Qui Gon losing his sight. It just goes to show how a traumatic experience can even affect stoic individuals.
