  This is such a good SCP concept because the scariest part isn’t even the statue, it’s the idea that everyone knows what it can do and they still have to figure out how to live around it. <br> <br>The Louvre setting makes it even better because removing the anomaly apparently creates its own problems. <br> <br>Curious what everyone else thinks: would you keep something like this contained in public where it can be monitored, or shut the entire exhibit down no matter what?

  I really love the stories that take place in a timeline or universe where the SCP Foundation has already faced a lifted veil scenario and is open about their existence to a degree.<br>One of my favorite stories was of the Russian soldier who traveled through time wearing armor made from insect chitin that he grew. That story starts with the foundation we mostly know then skips a bit to after the foundation went public. This anomaly was one of many humanoid anomalies permitted to leave containment and exist in the world as a citizen. The story told of many of the anomalies making livings as entertainers utilizing their abilities.<br>All this said I always found the normalcy thing silly. Anything worth containing is basically anything we wouldnt find in our world. So pretty much they consider normalcy trying to immitae our world. Which would be ABNORMAL for their world because so many SCPs are just parts of their day to day reality. Some of them are just species of animals that they deemed too strange.<br>Just ptotect us from anything that predates on humans and world enders please damn. Not cereal that sings when milk is poured on it.
