  Join this channel to get access to perks and Members Only exclusive Content! <br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCstrXRqOR2dotMpxE81i8Jw/join">https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCstrXRqOR2dotMpxE81i8Jw/join </a><br> <br>This Abandoned Elementary school in Hamilton, Ontario Canada was built in 1966 during a time of rapid growth and development for the city. &nbsp;With the post war population boom and increase in immigration, the city had built upwards of 20 new schools between 1940 into the 1970s <br> <br>In the 2000’s with rapidly declining student enrollments, 17 catholic schools were forced to close in the city of Hamilton, this school being one of them. <br> <br>St Christopher&apos;s Separate School was closed in 2008 and has been abandoned ever since. <br> <br>Since 2008 the school has been the site of several fires, extreme damage and vandalism.   I grew up 3 houses down from tbe school. &nbsp;We lived in that house for 45 years. &nbsp;This video made me very sad

  My old elementary school St. Christopher. &nbsp;I’m 56 now and attended from 74-82. &nbsp;I drive by often and just imagine what the inside looks like. &nbsp;Now I know. &nbsp;As you moved through the school I remembered how it looked like. &nbsp;At the beginning of the video, you are in the open concept area which consisted of 3 classrooms separated by low shelving. &nbsp;At the end of the open area was the library. &nbsp;A few times I have driven by the doors have been open obviously broken into. &nbsp;Been tempted to go inside and look around. &nbsp;Happy you did even though saddens me. &nbsp;I can imagine the ghosts inside of a time long gone.

  Went to nearby Rosedale school. We use to visit the &apos;birdbath&apos; here in grade school. Nice area below the escarpment. What a mess and a shame how it is now.:body-blue-raised-arms::hand-green-crystal-ball:

  Worked as an EA there back in 93 for a year before becoming a teacher. Loved it there.

  This was my old elementary school and it was a split of first grade, library and computer room! There were segragrad walls .. no fires and my parents still live down the street
