  I don’t know what was more impressive.  The climbing or boarding.  That was world-class on both sides.  Then the Victor De Le Rue cameo just made this film epic.

  Impressive how far splitboards have come. To be able to ride critical lines on them with confidence shows how far the sport come.

  I had the incredible pleasure of living in Cham for 5 years - When I first arrived on the train, I remember looking up at the mountains in awe and thinking “where do people ride here”! … and over the seasons of summer and winter living there, you get to understand just how incredibly high the level of everything is, the knowledge that comes with it and the amazing people who you meet, that just constantly blow your mind with what they do on those mountains. The pictures of Jérome Ruby and Andre Pierre (Dédé) Rhem’s (Rest in Peace) first descent of the Aiguille du Triolet are etched into my mind. Jérome sadly lost his sister too, Karine, to a climbing accident - she was the first Snowboarder to be awarded a Gold Medal at the Olympics (1998) and appeared on the front of the 98/99 piste map (side note - I was in the photo on the back of that piste map of the Cham Jam boarder cross final)  I also remember seeing Jeremy Jones in films (not the freestyle Jeremy Jones - the Freerider Jeremy Jones - always had to clarify) and how inspiring he was way back then. I now live on the southern tip of South Africa but constantly long to return to the place that holds the most positive ‘life’ moments for me - Chamonix. Stunning cinematography, story telling, riding and climbing 🔥 Massive respect and Appreciation - we need more of these! ✨

  Great storytelling and showcasing phenomenal people. I appreciate cinematography without interjecting the riders names every ten seconds.
