I like how in most devil Mario fights, you can just tell he has a skill and battle edge, probably the perks of having literally hundreds of souls fighting in tandem

This feels like sonic going serious against a mario from an alternative universe instead of sonic going feral to save mario from his possesors and going dark mode to save as fast as he can

In a way neither hero won. It feels rather sad yet cool in a way.

Dark sonic has so much damn aura dude. It’s so hard not to make him look cool.

Ngl I love how the weird dark sonic embodiment isn’t inherently evil here. It helped Sonic sure but it was also a similar feeling to Sonic being scolded for not being strong enough and to do better next time so he wouldn’t NEED to rely on a darker kind of power, cause if we’re bein fr devil Mario is strong yeh, but if Sonic REALLY locked in, he wouldn’t really need his dark form to put the paws on him.

That “only we did” really did kinda feel more like a “what if we weren’t here?” Yk what I mean.

All stuff aside this was fire as hell

Amazing animation man I loved the idea of Dark Sonic having a sword and the idea of Dark Sonic helping Sonic when no one else would.
