I was really moved by this interview. he explains the complex root of my ambivalent values and puts in words the way I've been behaving all my life and gives me wonderful insights!

What a fantastic storyteller, so glad I stumbled onto this interview. I've watched it a couple times and am recommending it to those I know it will resonate with. Cannot wait to read Edouard's books. This conversation will stay with me for a long while, in a similar way Nikki Giovanni's interview of James Baldwin did.

EL, one of the most important writers of today. And very talented in his skill, too.<br>He is so right about all of us not really knowing anybody, regardless of what class you are and if you have abuse in your family or not.

He said it. This is exactly where we need to start. Understanding what we have cancelled.

Your brother was in so much pain and suffering. &nbsp;Alcohol can feel like a &apos;friend&apos; but soon becomes destructive. &nbsp;A recent book called &apos;Damaged&apos; written by two psychiatrists at the University of Toronto, is about the long-term effects of childhood trauma/Adverse Childhood Events and the physical and emotional illnesses that can result. &nbsp; It&apos;s definitely worth reading because the book focuses on a particular client throughout a 20 -year period under the care of one of these psychiatrists. &nbsp; These two psychiatrists are sensitive and compassionate men and are working to revolutionize all aspects of healthcare in Canada to address and take into account every patient&apos;s/client&apos;s childhood history, regardless of the initial presenting symptoms that bring the person to the doctor or hospital. &nbsp; My heart is full of empathy upon hearing &nbsp;you tell this story of your brother. &nbsp;I am so sorry.

escaping is a coping skill but it does catch up with you and then you have to answer to yourself, what drove you. The process almost takes you to the beginning and if your lucky or honest then your out!
