  Great upload, thank you. One of the greatest performances in bantamweight history. Olivares was just about unbeatable here.

  I am Australian and I hated Olivares for what he did to Rose but at the same time I was in awe of the mighty little Mexican and he became one of my most all time beloved fighters.

  Lionel Rose came off the Olympics and found himself fighting for the world title as a 20 year old. He won a points decision and  defended the title at home and then fought Olivares a long way from home at 21. He fought at a high level a few more times but it was too much too fast.

  Recuerdo que antes de Olivares Chucho Castillo disputó el título gallo a Lionel Rose y Castillo perdió por decisión unánime la pelea, le faltó la determinación que tuvo Olivares para noquear a Rose y ganar el cinturón de peso gallo, grande el gran púas

  Rose fought like a true champion in this fight, even when he was on his last legs at the end throwing huge hail mary shots. Excellent match.

  Sin duda alguna los que tuvimos el privilegio de verlo al " PUAS " su incomparable estilo pegada y boxeo solo el y el "MANTECAS" Napoles unicos, lamentablemente hoy ya no hay de esos,esos si merecen llamarles idolos,,,Verdad don " tiezo canelo " que le ponen puros bultos
