  Best snare wire I’ve ever found is Christmas wreath wire it’s green and a spool of it weighs almost nothing In Maine we make a lot of the commercial Christmas wreaths so it’s always around

  That's one for the CV Andrew haven't watched it yet but chomping at the bit now to  get it on the  history channel I think alone is the gold standard for survival so to take part is incredible well done

  Really wish i had the means to watch this series of Alone Andrew, great to see a 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧 in it. I’ve not watched Alone since the original series really when Alan Kay deservedly won it. <br>You’re obviously very capable and i hope you do yourself proud. Hope you win it 👍🏻

  I’m in the uk. Me and my wife can’t wait for it to be aired here! I wish you the very best Andrew!! It seems you made it back in one piece which is always a concern of mine for every contestant. I hope everyone does well regardless of nationality. I’m sure wales and the uk will be proud of your achievements.

  A well thought out selection of gear.<br>👍🏼👍🏼<br>I enjoy seeing what other folks carry in the bush and the reasoning behind it.<br>I don’t think I could do it without a fixed blade knife though. I just feel naked in the bush without a belt knife. <br>I would think the multi-tool is essential if you choose snare wire, so I would have to leave out the saw or the axe….. I would probably take a large chopper and a saw. <br><br>I’m waiting for them to have an “Old Geezer Season” of Alone before I apply. Where all the contestants are over 65 years old. <br>I was encouraged to apply when the show first started, but couldn’t afford to take the time off.
