  Male mosquitoes actually only live to drink trees and mate. Female mosquitoes suck blood for their food, of course, and for their eggs, which they lay in dark watery places, which they fill with blood to keep their babies fed in the egg so they can go on to repeat the cycle.

  Mosquitoes are bottom of the food chain, so a lot of birds and non vampirism bugs food disappears. The parasites inside truly do nothing
