“How many rods do you need?” Is a question only a wife would ask.

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

Man I'll be honest, I don't care if I'm fishing, tying knots, picking my nose or scratching my ass. If I'm alone out on the water, I'm happy.

Roland, I am 78 and just now getting back into kayak fishing. Watching a lot of Videos and I admit yours are the best; clear, concise and so full of energy and knowledge. I’m learning so much and getting motivated to really start bass fishing here in Texas. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge and I look forward to more helpful advice.

This was a good video. A lot of ppl don’t know what rods to use for what. If I could fish with anyone in the world just once, it would be with Roland.

*Love St. Croix enjoyable.fishing recommend . Great action. Very enjoyable rod to use. I matched it with a Quantium Catalyst reel and together it works great. *

I personally fish out of a kayak, so having 20 rods isn't an option for me, having this kind of information helps me a lot. Thanks!

Best rod description I’ve ever seen on YouTube… leave it to “the man” to do it. Thanks, Roland.❤
