Hello from American, I was born in Haiti got adopted and was raised in Canada now I live in United States and I am so happy to see your videos because they are showing what it really is like over there. There are so many misconceptions and lies that are being told about my country, my birthplace. I still have my family that lives there and I help them. I help support them. I love them. I am trying my best to make a change for my family. They are looking into moving to cap Haitian.

I left Haiti 40 years ago and I was young. If I go to Haiti now, I will be confused by the money, because when I was in Haiti that was the 1980s, 100USD was $500 Haitian which means 2500 Haitian Gourdes, so 100USD goes a long way in Haiti. I am from Les Cayes, I remember the big Marché Fer.
