You could see how MSG Crawford didn't like the spotlight how he wanted to remain a humble recipient of our nation's highest military decoration. Though with that being said humble doesn't befit a Medal of Honor recipient especially one earned during such a difficult war in a very hostile place! Sir, you made our country and your unit proud please continue to rest in peace!

Receiver of the Medal of Honor and said it was just 1 day a long time ago?! These tough men did the unspeakable, was awarded the MOH and said it was just another monday. These are the people we should admire instead of athletes, actors and musicians. Imagine the balls in this guy.....absolutely humbled

Before becoming Governor of California and President Of The United States Of America Ronald Wilson Reagan was Commissioned as an Officer in The United States Army Air Forces during World War Two and served Stateside during World War Two

All hail Private Crawford! A true American hero and prime example of humility. I hope my son's grow to be great men like Mr. Crawford. As I prepare for my 18 year old to go to the Air Force in a few months I will ensure he reads about Mr. Crawford. May he rest in peace. Bless the USA and it's true heroes on all levels, not just those in the military. Anyone working for the greater good is a hero in my book.

I was there as a graduate. President Reagan was my commissioning officer and we were honored that the Commander in Chief was a part of our collective careers. God bless you sir for your life and we were able to return our lives to our great Nation.
