  I&apos;ve lived in Michigan my whole life (28 years). I&apos;ve always been fascinated with surfing, and dreamed of moving to a warm climate by the ocean and learning how to surf. This year I met some amazing people who surf the Great Lakes. I didn&apos;t even know that was possible! They were happy to teach me the basics. I&apos;ve since been paddling out on the lakes any chance I get. I&apos;m now saving for a truck and trailer that I plan to deck out with solar and wifi so that I can work remote part-time, travel around North America, and surf every single day up and down both the East and West coasts depending on the season.<br><br>I&apos;m about 1 &amp; 1/2 years out from that dream, but in the meantime I find myself coming back to this surf film to remind me why I&apos;m budgeting so hard and toughing out another Michigan winter in quarantine. Looking forward to the road ahead, and the people I&apos;ll meet along the way.

  &apos;The traditional owners of the land&apos; is actually quite funny. It were Indonesian water tribes who first came on Australian lands and ate all the giant ostriches, lions, koala&apos;s and wombats.

  This has got to be the most beautiful visual experience I have ever had. The film maker should be given a gold medal.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp;He deserves it for what he&apos;s made me feel (and the rest of you, I&apos;m sure.) &nbsp;That little house out in the middle of nothing is so perfect. I imagine the nights there, with no lights around. I&apos;d be seeing the stars big time and so quiet. Beats the hell out of going outside and seeing nothing but lights and a plain empty sky. &nbsp;I had no idea Australia had parts like that. &nbsp;A big thank you for posting this so I could accidentally find it and get my mind blown .

  Nice movie. Growing up in a small country town, my parents would take us on annual holidays to the coast where the salt air and surf etched itself into the memory. Long days in the sun and the sea developed an enduring resilience to any of life&apos;s woes because the surf was always there in your brain giving you something to look forward to at years end.

  Having grown up , raised a family and now grandkids on the Northern Rivers of NSW this vid evokes the stoke!<br>The cinematography and editing, to what is a great soundtrack, take me straight back to many of those beaches where I have plied a rail in the past.<br>So great to see some next-gen appreciation of what we have here.
