  Just to clarify the actions bit: actions refresh at the END of your turn, so you never have to save up actions. You can use reactions if you want, and you simply have fewer actions available when your turn comes around. That way, you never waste actions by saving them and then not using them.

  In Nimble you get your 3 actions back at the <i>end</i> of your turn. So you always have reactions available for defense. <br><br>But if you use them to defend you won&apos;t have as many to attack and move.

  Hit every nail on the head with this review. Been GMing Nimble myself for a year and a half now, and it&apos;s been such a great time. I&apos;d also like to mention the amazing homebrewing community for Nimble. Lots of creative people and the system is so easy to brew for.

  Nimble is so digestible and respectful of your time and energy. &nbsp;5e&apos;s monster manual has me scratching my head trying to decipher how I&apos;m supposed to run it, and I have to cross reference different books to look up their spells, keep track of the monster&apos;s spell slots, etc. It&apos;s such madness! Nimble boils it down so smoothly, which I appreciate so so much

  I&apos;ve said it many times. What we need is a game that combines modernized combat mechanics with an old-school approach to conflict/adventure design. Truly, the best of both worlds. Nimble seems to be just the system for that. I am also a big fan of DC20 (one of the key inspirations for Nimble).
