  I wonder if there are perhaps brief moments when the will of the city is truly defied. If there are any moments like that I definitely know that Roland and Angela has to be one of them. With them both stopping their personal cycles of hatred and literally being expelled from the city. Not to say that everyone who defies the will of the city would be expelled but that it could be symbolic for them being outside of the will of the city is control.

  The Index is the most conceptually terrifying Finger, sure the Ring makes art out of people, the Thumb and Middle will kill you and everyone you know over minor infractions and the Pinky can be anywhere, but the Index have tapped into something beyond human, the supposed gods who seem to be omnipotent these being know how Roland's life would turn out even before it happened (maybe), the Index truly feels inescapable, that at any point a prescript can be made detailing your exact location even in the future and be given to a Proxy to kill you.

  It's been recently confirmed that the smoke war was happening while Ryōshū was alive, also Rien has been larping Roland before the smoke war which is when Roland started to become more known

  Upset you didn't mention the moment Yan enter the room where the prescripts were written one of the first prescript hot off of the press could only exist due to a fake prescript Yan made in advance. Like imagining knowing everything you did from the start was just helping the very thing you hated.

  One detail that seemingly no one found is the gold stripes on almost all proxy and their equivalent&apos;s shoulder here&apos;s all of them<br><br>1 stripe : Gloria and Sora(she has it on her tie for some reason)<br>2 stripes : Yan, Hubert, Rien and finally that one random proxy Rien killed<br>3 stripes : Esther and Moirai<br><br>The stripes seems to signify their knowledge about the prescript will, like Gloria have 1 stripe bc she followed Yan&apos;s fake prescript without knowing it&apos;s fake, to Esther that have 3 stripes and he&apos;s usually the prescript interpreter or Moirai who is the closest we&apos;ve seen to the prescript will&apos;s literally

  i know most people say the Index is the &quot;most powerful finger&quot; because every action they take will always benefit the syndicate as a whole<br>but I feel as though that is only the case because they literally don&apos;t align themselves to anything<br><br>from what I gather, the pendelum device that detects the city&apos;s movements implies that the only goal the Index has is to perpetuate what already happens<br><br>they&apos;re successful because all they do is help cause events that already would/have been occurring

I even saw this a lot with Sinclair in the earlier days of Limbus and it&apos;s still around to some degree albeit much smaller and less common
